Differential Pressure Transmitter for Liquid Measurement

The lower flange of the double-flange liquid level transmitter is the positive pressure side, which is installed on the lower side of the tank in contact with the liquid medium. The upper flange of the double-flange liquid level transmitter is the negative pressure side, which is installed on the upper side of the tank body and is in contact with the gas medium.
Assume that P2 of the pressure sensed by the flange under the Differential Pressure Level Transmitter, P2=P0+P. The pressure sensed by the flange on the double flange liquid level transmitter is P0, then the differential pressure value output by the double flange liquid level transmitter is ΔP=P2-P0=P.
In the formula: P2——the pressure sensed by the lower flange of the double flange liquid level transmitter; P0 – pressure of the gas medium on the upper side of the tank; P – static pressure of liquid medium
Therefore, the differential pressure value output by the Differential Pressure Level Transmitter represents the liquid height. Therefore, according to Pascal’s law, it can be known that liquids of the same density are at the same depth, and the pressure of the liquid in all directions is equal.
