The UHZ-H high temperature and high pressure magnetic level gauge uses high-quality seamless stainless steel tubing and standard stainless steel flanges. Its unique heat dissipation method and high-temperature resistant materials ensure normal level measurement operation under high temperature and high pressure environments.
Features
- The wall thickness of the pressure chamber and the specifications and dimensions of the float can be customized according to the customer’s operating pressure and temperature range, effectively improving the pressure-bearing performance and safety performance of this series of products.
- The pressure chamber and float adopt a single-sided welding and double-sided forming process, effectively ensuring weld quality.
- For different pressure levels, the flange connection sealing surface of this product adopts a high-pressure design. When the connecting flange sealing surface uses an RJ ring connection surface, the maximum design pressure can reach 42MPa.
- Flaw detection: This series of products undergoes a series of flaw detection tests on each component and chamber after welding according to different pressure levels, ensuring weld quality and zero defects in materials to the greatest extent.
- High-temperature isolation technology is used to isolate the display panel from the high-temperature chamber, improving the temperature resistance and service life of this product. The maximum temperature resistance can reach 550℃.
- Hydrostatic testing: After the product is manufactured, we will conduct a rigorous high-pressure hydrostatic simulation test. A high-pressure water pressure test is conducted at 1.25-1.5 times the customer’s on-site design pressure. This ensures the maximum safety and sealing performance of this product series, providing customers with safe and reliable products for safe production measurements.

Magnetic Level Gauge vs Sight Glass
Magnetic level gauges and Sight Glass level gauges differ significantly in several aspects. The main differences are as follows:
I. Structure and Working Principle
A magnetic level gauge is an internal float type, mainly composed of two magnetic flip plates, a float, a conduit, and a control circuit. It operates based on the principle of float and the interaction of magnetism. The float moves up and down with changes in liquid level, and the liquid level is indicated by the flipping of the magnetic flip plates. Its structure is relatively simple, easy to maintain and clean.

A Sight Glass level gauge, on the other hand, is an external float type, composed of two glass tubes, a float, and a control circuit. It utilizes the principle of hydrostatic pressure, directly displaying the liquid level by the height of the liquid in the glass tube. Its structure is relatively intuitive, but the glass tube is more fragile.
II. Display Method
The magnetic level gauge provides a clear and conspicuous display, making observation intuitive. It employs a magnetic flip plate design; when the liquid level reaches or falls below a certain height, the magnets on the flip plates automatically attract or separate, making the scale on the flip plates clearly visible.
Magnetic level gauges can also be equipped with remote transmission capabilities, allowing direct observation of the liquid level from the control room, improving operational convenience.
Sight glass displays are also relatively intuitive, but may not be as clear as magnetic level gauges. Glass tube level gauges require close-range observation and are significantly affected by lighting conditions.
III. Durability and Maintenance
Magnetic level gauges offer excellent reliability, stability, and corrosion resistance. They are simple in design, have a long service life, require no maintenance, and can be used year-round both indoors and outdoors. They can withstand significant pressure and temperature variations, making them suitable for various harsh environments.
Sight glass is relatively fragile and easily affected by external impacts and temperature changes. Therefore, special care must be taken to protect the glass tube from damage during use.
IV. Applications
Magnetic level gauges are more suitable for applications requiring high accuracy and stability in level measurement, such as large enterprises and industrial production lines in the chemical, petroleum, power, and food industries. Their excellent reliability and stability meet the stringent requirements of these applications.
Sight Glass is more suitable for simple measurement needs, small businesses, and price-sensitive applications.

Sino-Inst’s high-temperature, high-pressure magnetic level gauges can be used with remote transmitters to achieve local digital display and output a standard 4~20mA remote electrical signal. This is suitable for recording instruments or industrial process control needs. They can also be used with magnetic control switches or proximity switches for level monitoring and alarm functions or to control inlet and outlet equipment.
Our products undergo pressure testing before leaving the factory. A water pressure test is conducted at 1.5 times the design pressure, followed by a 30-minute pressure holding test. Only after passing these tests will a certificate of conformity be issued and the product packaged for shipment.
