The main function of the Digital Diesel Flow Meter is to accurately measure the volume or mass flow rate of diesel fuel, providing high-precision digital display and supporting signal output.
Local digital display function, real-time display of instantaneous flow rate, cumulative flow rate, etc. It can significantly improve the flow meter’s range ratio and measurement accuracy.
Advantages of Digital Display
Clearer Readings
The Digital Diesel Flow Meter directly displays instantaneous and cumulative flow values with high accuracy, precise to three decimal places. Compared to mechanical pointer or counter wheel displays, which require manual reading and calculation, the digital display provides clearer and simpler readings.
Higher Accuracy
The digital flow meter only requires adjustment of the flow coefficient. The flow coefficient varies at different flow rates, especially at minimum flow rates, which affects its rangeability. The electronic display can effectively overcome this by using flow rate segmentation for comparison.
The Digital Diesel Flow Meter can improve flow accuracy to 0.25%.
Of course, digital displays have many more advantages.
Featured Display
Digital diesel flow meters can visually display instantaneous flow rate and cumulative flow. Some customized models can also display information such as pressure, temperature, frequency, and power supply.

Digital Diesel Flow Meter Types
Commonly used digital diesel flow meters in industrial applications include oval gear flow meters, turbine flow meters, GF gear flow meters, and mass flow meters.
Oval Gear Flow Meter
Oval gear flow meters can be customized with mechanical or electronic displays. They are available in cast iron, cast steel, and stainless steel materials. They offer stable and reliable measurement with accuracy up to 0.5% or 0.2%. Furthermore, they do not require any specific straight pipe length for installation.

Selection Guide
Based on our years of experience in flow measurement, we recommend that you consider the following parameters when choosing a suitable Digital Diesel Flow Meter:
- Pipe diameter
- Flow range: including minimum, normal, and maximum flow rates
- Compatibility of flow range and pipe diameter
- Pressure in the pipeline
- Diesel temperature
- Viscosity
- Installation location and straight pipe section requirements: Oval gear flow meters, GF gear flow meters, and mass flow meters do not require straight pipe sections before and after installation. Turbine flow meters do.
- Power supply availability: 24VDC or 220VAC?
- Required measurement accuracy
- Whether remote monitoring of flow is needed
- Cost budget
By considering all the above details, you can select the appropriate Digital Diesel Flow Meter.
