Magnetic Level Indicator with Transmitter/Switch

Magnetic Level Indicator with Transmitter-Switch

The Magnetic Level Indicator can be customized with level transmitters and switches to achieve long-distance transmission and control of liquid level. Remote transmitters and reed switches are available in explosion-proof and non-explosion-proof versions, with explosion-proof ratings from ExdⅡCT4 to CT6. Customers can choose different explosion-proof ratings according to their actual site requirements.

Key Features:

Transmitter Signal Output:

The transmitter is installed on the Magnetic Level Indicator. The up-and-down movement of the float, via magnetic coupling, sequentially actuates the measuring element within the guide rod, generating a resistance signal change. This signal is converted into a standard 0-10mA or 4-20mA signal output, or a 0-10V or 0-5V analog output and RS485 communication output. It can be connected to a display instrument or computer for remote transmission.

Upper and Lower Limit Switch Output:

A controller is installed on the Magnetic Level Indicator riser, allowing the user to set the upper and lower limit positions. The controller includes a self-holding reed switch. The magnetic float moves with the liquid level, actuating the reed switch to achieve alarm or limit control.

Optional Level Transmitter

Based on different user needs, we can select different level transmitters for magnetic level gauges. These mainly include magnetic level transmitters, capacitive level transmitters, and magnetostrictive level transmitters.

Magnetic Level Transmitter:

Composed of an imported reed switch, precision resistor, and conversion circuit. When the magnetic field lines of the magnetic float inside the magnetic level gauge act on the reed switch at a certain position, it closes. The resistance of the three-wire potentiometer is proportional to the change in liquid level. The conversion circuit converts the liquid level change into a 4-20mA DC signal output, realizing the detection and transmission of the liquid level signal.

Capacitive Level Transmitter:

Composed of a measuring electrode and a conversion processing circuit. The measuring electrode is installed in the bypass pipe of the magnetic level gauge. The electrode detects the liquid level change, and the conversion circuit outputs a 4-20mA DC signal proportional to the liquid level change. The output signal is not affected by the position of the float in the magnetic level gauge. This further improves reliability and features a continuous output signal.

Magnetostrictive Level Transmitter:

Developed using the magnetostrictive principle, this is a new generation of liquid level sensor with high measurement accuracy. It has stable performance and is unaffected by changes in gas, temperature, and pressure within the tank. It can provide two-wire 4~20mA (with HART) and ModBus signal outputs.
