
The ultrasonic water meter is a new type of water meter designed specifically for agricultural irrigation, garden management, and water resource monitoring, based on ISO4064-2014 and GB/T778-2018 standards.
Features
The ultrasonic water meter boasts advantages such as low cost, high measurement accuracy, low power consumption, and stable and reliable operation. With a thickness of only 2 inches (50.8mm), it saves installation space, and its all-component IP68 rating makes it suitable for various harsh working environments.
The unique design of the ultrasonic water meter ensures that measurements are virtually unaffected by water quality and there is no pressure loss, representing a significant innovation in agricultural irrigation water metering.

More Water Flow Meters
Sino-Inst’s new generation of ultrasonic water meters utilizes TI chips and DSP digital processing technology. A high-speed analog-to-digital converter directly digitizes the received ultrasonic signals and stores them in memory. The DSP then calculates the time difference and propagation time. These meters are designed for applications such as agricultural irrigation and water resource monitoring. They are installed on pipelines using a clamp-on method.
Due to the use of technology similar to FLEXIM flow meters, which involves acquiring and analyzing signal waveforms, this series of water meters features high accuracy, low drift, and stable reliability. Employing signal acquisition hardware with a 30dB dynamic range, this series of water meters can resist moderate pipe scaling and is suitable for turbid fluids. This water meter is fully encapsulated with waterproof sealant and can operate while submerged in water.
