Handheld Ultrasonic Flow Meter Optional Sensors

Handheld Ultrasonic Flow Meter Applications

Handheld ultrasonic flow meters use external clamp-on sensors to measure liquid flow. They are particularly suitable for flow balance testing and flow monitoring of drinking water, river water, seawater, cooling water, hot water, industrial wastewater, lubricating oil, diesel, fuel, and chemical liquids.

In urban water supply systems, handheld ultrasonic flow meters can be used to monitor flow in water supply pipes, helping water utilities understand urban water usage and promptly detect problems such as leaks.

In some older urban areas, aging water supply pipes are prone to leaks. Regular inspections with handheld ultrasonic flow meters can quickly locate leaks and reduce water waste.

In the wastewater treatment sector, handheld Doppler flow meters are widely used to monitor wastewater discharge flow rates due to their excellent measurement performance for wastewater containing suspended particles and impurities.

Environmental protection departments can use this data to evaluate the operating efficiency of wastewater treatment plants, ensure that wastewater discharge meets standards, and protect the environment.

In agricultural irrigation, handheld ultrasonic flow meters can be used to measure water flow in irrigation channels, helping to rationally allocate water resources and achieve accurate irrigation. This improves water resource utilization efficiency and promotes increased agricultural production and income.
