SI-3105 Battery Powered Electromagnetic Flow Meter

The battery powered electromagnetic flow meter uses a 3.6VDC battery for power, eliminating the need for an external power supply and ensuring reliable operation. The battery life can reach 3-6 years. It is widely used in outdoor and remote locations where mains power is unavailable. With an IP68 protection rating, it operates reliably without the need for additional protective measures.

① The flow rate/velocity range of V=0.5 m/s to V=5 m/s in the table is the recommended range for the flow meter, and the measurement accuracy is optimal within this recommended flow rate/velocity range.
② The factory default conventional flow rate is (0.5~5) m/s; lower flow rates (0.3~5) m/s are available upon request.

The power supply options for lithium battery powered electromagnetic flow meters include:

  • Third power supply option: 3.6V + 24VDC dual power supply (9VDC~32VDC)

Battery powered electromagnetic flow meters can be widely used in locations without a power supply, such as urban water supply, water conservancy irrigation, and sewage treatment industries.

  • Specifically designed for applications where power supply is inconvenient or unstable.
  • Measurement of water flow in water intake and supply networks: Can be installed in any location.
  • Agricultural irrigation: Saves water and improves irrigation efficiency.

Wireless Communication Network Setup

The battery powered converters can utilize a base station-based wireless communication network system. A communication base station is established in the regional center, with a coverage radius of 1000 meters. Each electromagnetic converter communicates with the base station via short-range communication (SRD mode), using the 928 MHz open frequency band (US standard). The base station communicates with the management computer via a GPRS or CDMA cellular network.

Alternatively, the battery powered converters can also communicate directly with the management computer via a GPRS or CDMA cellular network (see the communication manual for details on GPRS communication).
