
Target flow switch, also known as “baffle flow switch”, is a plug-in installation, mechanical flow switch with a built-in micro-trigger switch. The switch signal is output through the fluid flow in the pipeline to the blade swing deflection action.
SI-01B target flow switch can be used in water cooling system or lubricating oil system as a flow controller or alarm protection. It can also be used to detect and observe the relay of liquid flow. The setting value is adjustable and the user can adjust it according to the needs.

SI-01B Target Flow Switch Installation and Adjustment
- Open the flow switch housing;
- The switch is factory-set to approximately the minimum flow value. Increase the flow setting value and turn the adjustment screw clockwise①;
- Press the target to check whether the micro switch is working properly. Excessive counterclockwise rotation of the adjustment screw may cause the flow switch to fail;
- After installation, check by pressing the flow switch lever several times. Once it is found that there is no “click” sound when the lever returns, turn the adjustment screw forward until there is a “click” sound when it returns;
- It is forbidden to remove the screw fixing clip②, otherwise it will cause the flow adjustment screw to fail;
- The paint-sealed adjustment screw③ is only for factory adjustment of the flow switch state, please do not change or adjust;
- Three working cycles should be observed to confirm that the switch and its connection are operating normally. And cover the switch housing in time.

Working principle of the target flow switch
The target flow switch is a device used to detect the flow velocity or flow rate of fluid in a pipeline. Its working principle is based on fluid mechanics and electronic control technology.
The working principle of the target flow switch is based on the internal float (target) and magnetic sensor. When the fluid passes through the pipeline, the flow velocity increases, causing the float to rise. The magnetic sensor detects the float position and converts it into an electrical signal. The electrical signal is sent to the control unit. It is used to compare the difference with the preset flow threshold. Once the measured value exceeds the threshold, the flow switch triggers the corresponding action. Such as cutting off the fluid supply or issuing an alarm signal.
