How to select a flow switch?
First, you must understand what type of flow switch you are buying. Different types have different materials and uses, so the prices will not be the same.
For example, the price of an ordinary thermal flow switch and a relatively high-demand explosion-proof flow switch can be twice or even higher. If it involves corrosion resistance and other requirements, the price may be higher.
Secondly, the operating conditions and product technical recommendations.
Before purchasing, you need to confirm the following.
- What is the power supply voltage, DC or AC or 24V or 220V;
- How many VA is the power consumption, it depends on your needs;
- Output mode, there are normally open and normally closed options;
- Is it required to be PNP, NPN or relay;
- Contact capacity, generally the flow switch can display whether the flow reaches the set value by setting the flow.
- Whether the contact medium needs corrosion protection.
- Whether the use environment requires explosion-proof and dustproof.
Finally, you must communicate clearly with our sales engineers before purchasing. Confirm the on-site working conditions, usage conditions, and functions to be achieved. Otherwise, if you cannot use it on site, it will not only bring inconvenience and trouble to yourself, but also delay the construction period and cause unnecessary losses.
