What is a flow switch in HVAC?
In HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) systems, flow switches are widely used to control the flow of water, refrigerant and air.
For example, in air conditioning systems, flow switches can detect the flow of cooling water. When the flow is lower than a certain value, the switch will send a signal to remind the operator to clean the filter or replace damaged parts in time. This not only ensures the normal operation of the system, but also reduces energy consumption and extends the service life of the equipment.

The SI-300T Integrated Temperature and Flow Sensor uses dual temperature sensors. One temperature sensor is connected to the heat source. The other temperature sensor is isolated from the heat source. This provides temperature compensation for the process.
Temperature changes when flow changes. The device can be used as a flow sensor within the flow switch range or as a flow switch. Ultra-low flow rates can also be detected with an adjustable range of up to 300:1.
