SI-3602 High temperature Oval Gear Flow Meter

The SI-3602 High Temperature Oval Gear Flow Meter is specifically designed for measuring the flow rate of high-temperature liquids, such as liquid coal tar, heated asphalt, and high-temperature heat transfer oil. The mechanical display can measure media at temperatures up to 200°C, while the intelligent digital display can measure media at temperatures up to 150°C. Temperature ranges from 280°C to 350°C can be customized.

Features

  • Features include a wide measuring range, high accuracy, and low pressure loss.
  • Strong viscosity adaptability; capable of measuring high-temperature, high-viscosity liquids.
  • The oval gear flow meter is equipped with a pointer and digit wheel accumulation device, allowing direct on-site display of the liquid flow rate and instantaneous flow rate within the pipeline.
  • Adding a signal transmitter to the counting mechanism and pairing it with an electronic display instrument enables centralized remote control of cumulative, quantitative, and instantaneous flow rates.
  • Adding a heat sink or an oval gear with missing teeth allows for the measurement of high-temperature and high-viscosity liquids.
  • The flow meter body can be manufactured from different materials for different liquids (acids, alkalis, salts, organic solutions, etc.).

Unique Design Structure

To facilitate the normal transport and flow detection of media that easily solidify at room temperature, condense or crystallize at a certain temperature, within pipelines, it is often necessary to heat the media in the system pipeline to melt and maintain its temperature. However, since direct steam flow is not permitted at the installation location of the oval gear flow meter (to prevent damage to the flow meter), our company has designed an insulation jacket to be added to the outside of the flow meter housing.

Hot water, hot oil, or steam below 200℃ can be introduced into the insulation jacket to melt the solidified media inside the flow meter (or filter) and maintain a certain temperature, thereby ensuring the normal operation of the flow meter.

The filter installed before the oval gear flow meter can also be in the form of an insulation jacket; special orders are available upon request. The nominal pressure of the insulation jacket is 0.5MPa.
