Cryogenic Flow Meters Product Types
In simple terms, the flowmeters that can be used for cryogenic fluid measurement are mainly: gear flowmeter, cryogenic turbine flowmeter, Coriolis mass flowmeter and target flowmeter. Different cryogenic flowmeters can be configured according to different measurement parameters of the user.
1. Gear Flow Meter
GF series gear flowmeter is a new type of volumetric flowmeter. It is mainly used for custom low temperature -196℃, high pressure (10MPa, 25MPa, 40MPa), high viscosity, low flow measurement. The accuracy can reach 0.5%.
GF series gear flowmeter has another advantage. That is, there is no requirement for straight pipe section for installation. Even hose can be installed.
Therefore, GF series gear flowmeter is widely used in the flow measurement of cryogenic fluid and conventional fluid.
2. Low Temperature Turbine Flow Meter
The cryogenic turbine flowmeter is customized based on the conventional liquid turbine flowmeter. It is commonly used for measuring liquid nitrogen, liquid oxygen and other fluids. The accuracy is 0.5%, 1%.
The turbine flowmeter is more tolerant to liquids. It can also be used with a small amount of impurities.
However, the turbine flowmeter requires the installation of straight pipe sections before and after.

3. Coriolis mass flowmeter
The Coriolis mass flowmeter is the flowmeter with the highest accuracy. It can reach 0.1%. It can also be customized to measure low-temperature media at -200℃.
The Coriolis mass flowmeter can measure mass flow, temperature, and density at the same time. It has the highest reliability.
But at the same time, the mass flowmeter is also a flowmeter with a higher cost.
4. Target flowmeter
The target flowmeter has the characteristics of no moving parts of traditional target, orifice plate, vortex flowmeters, etc. At the same time, it has the measurement accuracy comparable to that of volumetric flowmeters. The accuracy is 0.5%~1%
Its unique anti-interference and anti-impurity performance. Especially in working conditions where flow measurement is difficult, such as high viscosity, dirty media, easy condensation and blockage, high temperature, low temperature, strong corrosion, etc., the target flowmeter has good adaptability.
