The SI-3305 Intelligent Gas Precession Vortex Flowmeter is a new type of intelligent flow meter that integrates pressure and temperature readings. It can simultaneously display temperature, pressure, operating flow rate, standard flow rate, and total flow. It is an ideal choice for gas metering in the petroleum, chemical, power, metallurgical, and urban gas distribution industries.

The Intelligent Gas Precession Vortex Flowmeter employs the vortex flow metering principle. Its working principle can be summarized as follows:

A contraction tube (or vortex generator) is placed in the fluid pipeline. As the fluid flows through the contraction tube, the flow velocity gradually increases until a stable vortex forms downstream. This vortex periodically detaches and propagates forward along the pipeline.

When the vortex passes the sensor, the sensor detects its presence and outputs a signal proportional to the fluid flow rate. By detecting the vortex shedding frequency, the flow meter can calculate the fluid velocity, thereby determining the flow rate.
