The Intelligent Gas Precession Vortex Flowmeter employs the vortex flow metering principle. Its working principle can be summarized as follows:
A contraction tube (or vortex generator) is placed in the fluid pipeline. As the fluid flows through the contraction tube, the flow velocity gradually increases until a stable vortex forms downstream. This vortex periodically detaches and propagates forward along the pipeline.
When the vortex passes the sensor, the sensor detects its presence and outputs a signal proportional to the fluid flow rate. By detecting the vortex shedding frequency, the flow meter can calculate the fluid velocity, thereby determining the flow rate.
