Chemical level sensor is composed of PTFE gas collecting cylinder, PTFE capillary tube and junction box. High corrosion resistance and high applicable compatibility. It can be used for liquid level measurement of high concentrations of strong acids and alkalis in various industries.

Chemical level sensor with PTFE probe is suitable for open hydrostatic liquid level measurement. Mainly measuring: hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, hydrofluoric acid, sodium hydroxide, hydrogen peroxide and other highly corrosive liquids, or chemical and electroplating wastewater.

Like other hydrostatic pressure level sensors, our Submersible Chemical Level Sensor with PTFE Probe uses the hydrostatic pressure method to measure.

When the liquid level transmitter is put into a certain depth of the liquid to be measured, the pressure on the liquid surface of the sensor is: P=p.g.H+P0
In the formula:
P: pressure on the liquid surface of the sensor, unit: Pa
p: Density of the liquid to be measured, unit: kg/m3
g: local gravity acceleration, unit: m/s2
P0: Atmospheric pressure on the liquid surface, Unit: Pa
H: Depth of the sensor into the liquid, unit: m

At the same time, the atmospheric pressure P0 on the liquid surface is introduced into the back pressure chamber of the sensor through the air guide cable to offset the P on the liquid surface of the sensor. Let the pressure measured by the sensor be: P=p.g.H
Obviously, by measuring the pressure P, the liquid level depth H can be obtained. The pressure signal sensed by the sensor is converted and amplified by the circuit, and is output as a standard signal after compensation.
