The iTCMM mini-multipoint thermocouple probe is a Type K device capable of providing up to 30 measurement points within a 6 mm diameter probe sheath.

Fine chemical reaction processes often utilize shell-and-tube reactors (fixed-bed reactors); the internal space within the reactor tubes is confined, yet a high number of measurement points is required to ensure comprehensive monitoring. The mini-multipoint thermocouple offered by Sino-Inst ensures a complete profile of the internal reaction temperature within these reactors.

Features

  • Its compact size minimizes the impact on the reaction process and significantly reduces issues related to catalyst loading.
  • Typically, 6 to 30 temperature measurement points are positioned within a 6 mm diameter probe. The sensor length is generally around 6 meters, with a maximum reach of 15 meters.
  • The replaceable sensor design enables in-situ replacement, thereby minimizing maintenance issues (sensors can be replaced without unloading the catalyst).
  • Proper centering within the catalyst tube ensures accurate process temperature measurement.
