4.Thermal response time of armored thermocouple:

When there is a step change in temperature, the time required for the output of the thermocouple to change to 50% of the step change is called the thermal response time, represented by T0.5.

Sheathed Thermocouple working Principle

The working principle of the armored thermocouple: The two ends of two conductors with different compositions are welded to form a loop. The direct temperature measurement end is called the measuring end, and the connecting end is called the reference end. When there is a temperature difference between the measuring end and the reference end, a corresponding temperature value of the thermoelectromotive force will be generated in the loop.

The thermal electromotive force of the armored thermocouple will increase as the temperature of the measuring end increases. The size of the thermal electromotive force is only related to the material of the armored thermocouple conductor and the temperature difference between the two ends, and has nothing to do with the length and diameter of the thermocouple.

The structure of the armored thermocouple is made of conductors, insulating magnesium oxide and 1C18N9Ti stainless steel protective tubes that are drawn multiple times.
