Miniature Multipoint Thermocouple Probe– Type K
The iTCMM mini-multipoint thermocouple probe is a Type K device capable of providing up to 30 measurement points within a 6 mm diameter probe sheath.
Fine chemical reaction processes often utilize shell-and-tube reactors (fixed-bed reactors); the internal space within the reactor tubes is confined, yet a high number of measurement points is required to ensure comprehensive monitoring. Insertion length notes:
- With a compression fitting thread, probe length = N + insertion length L.
- For straight threads (e.g. M or G), insertion length is measured from the thread root.
- For tapered threads (e.g. NPT or R), insertion length is measured from the middle of the thread. For a flange connection, insertion length is measured from the flange sealing face.
